Northern Pines Golf Course and Event Center

The Landgreen family dream, to take 120 acres of their farm and turn it into a golf course, began in 1998.

The Landgreen family dream

A driving range opened that year and construction of the course began.

Contractors were hired to help construct the greens and tees. At the same time the Landgreen family,Tim,his wife Debbie and four children, Mike, Jeremy, Melissa, and Danielle began working on the fairways.

There was plenty of disking, rock-picking, seeding, planting and mowing to keep everyone busy. The tremendous amount of sweat equity helped keep the total cost of construction within a reasonable amount for a project of this size.

Northern Pines Golf Course

Northern Pines Golf Course slowly and laboriously came into existence.

The initial course was a beautiful, scenic par 37, 3,215 yards long at the blue tees. A small corner of the maintenance shed served as a club house

In 2005 Northern Pines was converted to a par 36 course, 3,045 at the blue tees and 2,609 from the reds. A rustic, log sided club house, over looking the golf course was a much needed addition..

As the golf course and club house business expanded there was a need for a larger banquet area. In 2011, a 2,000 foot expansion to the club house was completed. To complement the existing building the outside has log siding and the inside is finished with hardwood paneling
